Refresh availabilityIndian Lake Area Historical Society Ornament for 2024 is the "Plaza Showboat.”
The Plaza Showboat was opened in 1936 next to the Plaza Hotel at the foot of the Sandy Beach Bridge. It was 104 feet long and 40 feet wide and looked like a yacht but was stationary and constructed on pillars. Floor shows were the spectacle on the main deck from 7-9pm. Lobster and steak dinners were also served.
These are collector's ornaments and come packaged in a plastic lidded box with felt for displaying.
The ornament measures 2.5" width x 2.25" tall x 1/8" depth and is made of metal and tied with a red corded rope.
